At the end of this course you will:
•    understand the dynamics of current legal practice
•    develop a detailed business plan that will be a blueprint for your practice
•    apply professional responsibility and ethical practice requirements
•    understand the financial mechanics of your practice
•    manage legal practice risk and avoid negligence
•    learn marketing and business development strategies
•    implement effective people management techniques
•    learn about trust money, trust accounts and setting up a trust account
•    understand how to better manage and supervise staff, and
•    understand stress and how to balance personal and professional objectives.

Who should attend

Making the transition from solicitor to principal or partner of a law practice requires greater skills and understanding of the business of managing a legal practice. 

This online course is designed to provide you with everything you need and is accredited by the Legal Practice Board Western Australia for the purposes of obtaining a Principal Practising Certificate. By satisfactorily completing the course, you will be issued with a PMC Statement for Western Australia.
