 ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

By attending the Armidale CLE weekend you can fulfil your entire CPD requirement for the year.  The conference comprises plenary sessions that all delegates attend which include the 3 compulsory subjects.  There are also a number of concurrent sessions where delegates can choose to attend either Stream A or Stream B depending on your practice area.

This year, our ethics session will also satisfy your Lawcover maintenance requirements.

  • Misbehaving Agents under Powers of Attorney - Legal and Equitable Remedies for Elder Financial Abuse


Stream B: Criminal Law

  • Current Issues in Criminal Law - Tactics in Drug Related Matters

  • Parenting Disputes and the Child’s Best Interests Following the High Court’s Decision in Bondelmonte


60th Anniversary Cocktail Party

In recognition of the conference’s 60th year we will be holding a cocktail party instead of the usual conference dinner.  There is no extra charge for delegates.  Spouses/spices are welcome to attend at a cost of $66.

Many of the speakers will also attend the party and this will be a great opportunity for all to meet and mingle and celebrate this milestone.
