 ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Our annual not for profits and charities regulatory conference (held in May in Melbourne every year) draws senior executives and advisors from the charities and NFP sector from across the country. It is one of our most popular conferences and that is why we are repeating this event on the Gold Coast in November 2018 for all those who couldn’t get to Melbourne.

The legal and regulatory challenges facing the NFP and charity sector continue to grow. This conference examines the raft of issues facing the sector, including corporate governance, DGR reforms and child safety in a post-Royal Commission landscape.

FEEDBACK FROM THIS SAME CONFERENCE HELD IN MELBOURNE EARLIER THIS YEAR

74% of respondents were very satisfied with the conference and 26% were quite satisfied, yielding an overall result for the event of 4.7 out of 5, an exceptional score.  In addition, over 70% of respondents would definitely recommend the event to others, another very pleasing result.

  • I found this year's & last year's conference very interesting, relevant & engaging.  Given the current & recent challenges in my role & the relevance of material covered, I would recommend the conference to colleagues for the same reasons.
  • Excellent speakers, great papers/resources, broad range of relevant topics with immediate practical relevance to day to day practice.
  • Calibre of the speakers was sound.  Business papers were prepared with relevance for audience.  High quality speakers and materials.
  • I normally expect 2 - 3 take home points.  During this conference I have more 7 - 10 take home points.
  • Relevant up-to-date subject matter; qualified presenters, quality venue - Thank You!
