Daniel Diaz, Barrister, Victorian Bar, Melbourne

Daniel practises in taxation, administrative and commercial law.

Prior to coming to the Bar, Daniel was a solicitor at Arnold Bloch Leibler and Allens Arthur Robinson (now Allens).  In those roles, he advised public companies, private companies and high net-worth individuals regarding income tax, GST and state tax laws.  Daniel also acted for taxpayers in disputes with the Australian Taxation Office and has extensive experience in resolving matters concerning undisclosed assets and income.

Daniel completed a Master of Laws at the University of Melbourne where his studies focused on tax litigation, the administration of tax laws and administrative law more generally.  Daniel is also an updating author for chapters 24.4 (International Taxation) and 31.6 (Capital Gains Tax) of The Laws of Australia and is a Fellow of the Tax Institute.
