The challenges for SMSF auditors continue to grow – particularly in a post super reforms landscape. And following from the 2018 Federal Budget announcements, it seems there are more complexities on the horizon. This year’s conference focuses on both the auditor’s role and the difficult technical issues facing auditors, including a look at the proposed changes to the independent audit cycle. It also provides a detailed look at managing audit risk post super reforms, with emphasis on valuation headaches and auditing death benefit payments and pensions.

55% of respondents were very satisfied with the conference and 45% were quite satisfied, yielding an excellent overall result for the event of 4.5 out of 5.  Around 79% of respondents found the content all or mostly relevant to their professional lives, and a further 21% between half and three quarters relevant, yielding an outstanding overall content score of 4.8 out of 5.
