The COVID-19 pandemic has created significant economic uncertainty, impacting SMSFs, the industry, and its clients. Our two day conference reflects on the evolving landscape and how clients and their advisers can best navigate the practical challenges. Conference sessions include understanding new contribution rules, compliance issues with investment strategies during a falling market, and the future use of LRBA arrangements in SMSFs. It also examines key interdisciplinary issues, including managing an SMSF with an auditor in mind, dealing with family law disputes, and the role of the SMSF in estate planning.
