First Annual Disability Legal and Regulatory Conference
27 and 28 October 2016
Sheraton Hotel, Melbourne

Australia’s disability sector is experiencing a massive change, with the coming roll-out of the NDIS and the Senate Inquiry into institutional abuse.  At the same time, community awareness of the needs of persons with disabilities is leading to very significant changes to policy and regulation in the field.

It is vital now, more than ever, for disability service providers and legal practitioners to be across the ever-shifting landscape. The conference examines the myriad of legal and regulatory issues facing the sector, including the role of the NDIS, community participation, discrimination and estate planning issues.
