Casual Employment Post WorkPac

The regular and systematic engagement of casual employees is major feature of some Australian industries, including the mining, retail and fast food sectors.  The Full Court of the Federal Court decision, in WorkPac Pty Ltd v Skene, now requires a rethink and review of such employment practices.  In this program, Tom Brett, from Gilbert + Tobin in Sydney, reviews the case and its practical implications, and the steps employers need to take in the light of the decision.
