Liz is an experienced advisor and litigator in the area of workplace relations law. She handles the full range of employment-related claims, including unfair dismissal, adverse action, discrimination, workplace bullying, sexual harassment and underpayment. She regularly advises on workforce management issues including terms and conditions of employment, management of sick, injured and underperforming workers, the application of industrial instruments, transfers of business, restraints of trade, work health and safety, workers compensation and sham contracting.

Liz acts for clients across broad industry sectors, including health and aged care, education, retail, insurance, finance, labour hire, property and construction.

She also advises schools on the unique laws and regulations affecting their employment relationships and general operations, including school governance, additional learning needs, privacy and health law obligations and mandatory reporting requirements.

Liz is active in many workplace law and industry groups, including as an Executive Committee Member of the Law Institute of Victoria Workplace Relations Section since 2013, and a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute and Industrial Relations Society of Victoria. She regularly facilitates staff training workshops and presents at professional conferences.
