  • A refresher on the various superannuation caps and thresholds and those that are changing
  • How the “total superannuation balance” interacts with the “transfer balance cap”” when planning contributions
  • The situations where a member’s age impacts on the allowed contributions
  • What the changes mean to the “bring forward” rule
  • The pros and cons of contribution splitting for spouses
  • Strategies to consider as a result of the changes, including:
    • managing eligibility for the catch-up contribution rules
    • how a downsizer contribution and its timing can impact on contribution strategies
