Conflicts can arise between farming neighbours when there is a difference of approach when it comes to farming practices. Whether it be a concern of contamination from genetically modified seeds, use of chemicals or different plant seed varieties or issues with livestock - there is a risk of conflicts arising when such diversity of farming practices crosses farm and property boundaries. Taking a practical approach, this session shall:
- Explore examples where such issues have arisen, the damage or loss suffered
- Examine the legal and practical options available to remedy the complaint
- Focus on steps that could be taken in each case examples to prevent damage and loss
