Course at a glance
Our mediator training program is:
• Accredited: The College is a registered provider of mediation training programs, compliant with the current National Mediator Accreditation System (NMAS).
• Convenient: A five-day practical workshop conducted via videoconference.
• Immediately practical: You will learn how to mediate disputes through real-world scenarios and immersive roleplays.
• Reputable: You will learn from one of Australasia’s most highly regarded faculties of mediation trainers, coaches, and assessors.
• The Nationally Accredited Mediator Training Program is comprised of five days of an intensive workshop conducted via video conferencing and preparatory reading material. You’ll learn through role-play and practice – while being guided by accredited mediation professionals.
Program outline:
• Day one: Introduction to mediation, pre-mediation and conflict analysis.
• Day two: Facilitative model and skills theory.
• Day three: Morning of mediation review, Q&A, followed by full day of mediation role-plays
• Day four: Morning of meditation theory review, Q&A, followed by full day of mediation role-plays
• Day five: Morning of mediation review, Q&A, followed by full day of mediation role-play, feedback, and where to from here?
