About the Podcast

Australia is entering a $5 trillion intergenerational wealth transfer, and for many family-owned businesses, the real challenge is not the assets, but the structure that holds them. This episode explores the tax mechanics behind business succession planning: when a restructure is warranted, how to move a business into a “clean” entity, and what options exist for staged or complete exits. With the ATO’s scrutiny never far away, this episode provides advisers with a practical roadmap for navigating ownership change.
