About the Podcast

GST can materially impact the profitability of a property development if it is not managed carefully from the outset. This episode steps through the GST consequences at each stage of the property development life cycle, from registration and site acquisition through to development, sale and wind-down. We explore key risk areas including GST-free going concerns, residential input-taxed supplies, purchaser withholding obligations, and the very different GST outcomes for build-to-sell versus build-to-rent projects.
