Darren has been at Nexia Sydney for over 16 years during which he has developed expertise in Superannuation (in particular SMSFs), across both accounting and financial planning facets, enabling him to provide a unique and holistic service offering to clients.
Darren graduated UNSW with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance Majors), and has since completed several post graduate qualifications to become a Chartered Accountant SMSF Specialist and a Certified Financial Planner. This has enabled him to develop from a superannuation accountant assisting clients with their tax compliance needs, to also becoming their trusted financial advisor providing holistic advice including structuring/tax minimisation, retirement planning, investment, risk management and estate planning strategies.
It is important to strike a happy balance between enjoying life now and building towards a comfortable retirement, which is where Darren believes he adds value to his clients by keeping them up to date with changes to legislation and on track to achieve their goals by providing them with advice through their various life stages towards retirement and beyond.
