Mark Kenney is a Partner at Carter Newell Lawyers in the Construction & Engineering Team with over 15 years experience working in the construction, infrastructure and resources sectors focusing on contract negotiation and drafting.

Mark has a proactive approach and is often involved on behalf of clients from the outset of the tendering and negotiation phases, through early works and MOUs, up to execution of the agreed contract.  Post contract he advises on subcontract and consultancy arrangements, ongoing contract management, procurement and the engagement of service providers, including development of master services or standing order arrangements, right through to renegotiation and renewal of existing term contracts.

Mark is very familiar with all of the major development and construction contract models and has also drafted numerous bespoke agreements. He also specialises in collaborative arrangements in the delivery of projects, through joint ventures, consortium arrangements or alternative teeming arrangements.
