The Royal Commission into Violence, Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation of People with a Disability is due to release an interim report at the end of October 2020 on education for people with a disability. This session will examine how some of the issues raised over the course of the royal commission’s hearings, submissions and reports may impact schools going forward, including:

With 25 years of experience as an advocate with a strong background in industrial and employment law advice and litigation and safety, education, health and anti-discrimination law, Annie provides her clients with strong representation and practical commercial advice.

Annie also undertakes employment and regulatory law work in the health sector, including for registered medical practitioners.

Annie has extensive experience undertaking complex workplace investigations concerning harassment, bullying and safety breaches.
