About the Webinar

The transition to 100% digital conveyancing and lodgement has changed the playing field and created a raft of new challenges for property lawyers. This session looks at the key issues and what they mean in practice, including:

  • the question of cyber security
  • verification of identity
  • risks to unencumbered titles
  • lease registration and lessee risk
  • What about agents who can act when you cannot? – Is this a viable option?
  • What operating and participation rules apply?
  • What rules apply to lodgement of documents?
  • Are there any exceptions allowing paper lodgement?
  • Where do easements fit in to current arrangements?
