Jared Zak
Principal Solicitor & Founder, Dott & Crossitt Conveyancers & Solicitors Sydney, NSW

Jared Zak is the Principal Solicitor of Dott & Crossitt and holds more than 15 years experience in law and finance. He spent the early stages of his career working in Japan, Sydney and London, before founding Dott & Crossitt in 2014.

After his stint working in large corporate law firms and international banks, he started Dott & Crossitt with a view to build a business that would pride itself on creating meaningful engagement with its clients.

Purchasing a home is such an exciting time in people’s lives, and being part of that experience, relieving the associated stress and pressures that come along with it, to ensure it is positive for people, underpins the values and ethos Jared has woven into the fabric of Dott & Crossitt.

Throughout his time at the helm of Dott & Crossitt he has worked to nurture a collaborative and energetic team environment that has seen the team go from strength to strength. The business started out averaging just five transactions per month and now manages in excess of 100 across the team’s five offices. In 2021, Jared and his team were also acknowledged in the PropertyX Innovate Awards as a finalist in the Innovator of the Year Category.

Jared is an experienced solicitor, having graduated from Sydney University in 2007 with First Class Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance). Following graduation he worked as a paralegal for a law firm in Japan before returning to Sydney where he qualified as a solicitor with Mallesons Stephen Jacques. Jared then spent five years working in London for a major international law firm specialising in structuring finance and then for Santander Bank as Head of Secured Funding. In 2021-22 Jared was also a member of the PEXA State and National Advisory Committees.
