Adam is a highly regarded commercial intellectual property lawyer who has held positions including with Deloitte as Director of IP Advantage, Director of Intellectual Property at Brand Finance Australia, Professorial Visiting Fellow at the University of New South Wales Law Faculty, General Counsel and General Manager Intellectual Property at CSIRO (Commonwealth Science and Industrial Research Organisation), partner in the law firm Freehills. He has also been a member of the New South Wales Innovation Council and the Commonwealth Government Advisory Council on Intellectual Property and is a Past President of the Licensing Executives Society International.
He has given presentations on intellectual property and its application at request of organisations such as the World Intellectual Property Organisation, the Australian Graduate School of Management, APEC (Asia-Pacific Economic Co-operation), Japan Patent Office, CSIR India, University of Warsaw and the Riga Graduate School of Law.
Adam has also written various articles and books on the commercial application of intellectual property.
