Recorded Webinar: De-risking Supply Chain Issues in Construction Projects
Date/Time
About the Webinar
Supply chain issues arising from the pandemic and conflicts around the world continue to take their toll on many industries in Australia - with the construction industry being hit particularly hard. As these issues do not seem to be going away anytime soon, it seems a good time to revisit how such issues could be better addressed (and mitigated against) in new construction projects. This session looks at some practical steps construction practitioners could take to mitigate the risk to new construction projects arising from these issues. In particular, this session will explore:
- Useful clauses to consider including in the contract to address known or probable supply chain issues
- Alternatives to the traditional contractual regime focusing on more equitable outcomes and opportunities for negotiated outcomes
- case study
