With blockchain and other digital assets entering the mainstream, clients are expecting their lawyers to keep up with the new digital frontier. Delivered by leading experts in the field, this webinar series demystifies key concepts and provides advisers with the tools to improve their digital literacy and skillset. Included in this series are four sessions dedicated to unpacking every aspect of the digital world, including an introductory session outlining key terms and fundamentals, a deep dive into the current cryptocurrency market, a dedicated session on the legal framework impacting blockchain technology, as well as a standalone session on non fungible tokens.

Once advisers have understood the basics, they can take their understanding to the next level and learn how cryptocurrency has impacted specific areas of practice.

Program 5: Coming to Grips with Taxation in the Digital Economy

With technology rapidly evolving, cryptocurrency is gaining momentum both as an investment and a medium of exchange. Advisers will need to keep abreast of the tax implications that follow. This session aims to inform you of the tax issues that can arise, including:

  • Cryptocurrency:
