Retail and commercial leasing is an area rife with disputes that can often lead to costly and lengthy litigation. In an area rich with case law, practitioners can learn from the mistakes from others. In this practical session, leading retail and commercial leasing expert, Anthony Herro, delves the latest and greatest leasing cases and examines the key lessons they hold for property lawyers. Anthony will also summarise the new Retail Leases Regulations 2022 that came into effect on 1 January 2023.
